Khyber Tigers wins Season-3 of Kaliwal Zalmi Cricket League

PESHAWAR: Khyber Tigers clinched the Season-3 of Kaliwal Zalmi Cricket League with a record 800 teams and over 12,000 Young Cricketers taking part in Pakistan’s one of the biggest Tape Ball Cricket events.

Khyber Tigers won the season 3 of Kaliwal Zalmi Cricket League in the final played in Kabal Ground Swat, Khyber Tigers beat Bannu Bulls in the final in the presence of a large crowd. Arshad Khan Education Secretary KPK, Head of Marketing GTR Tyres, Asad Usmani, PCB Level 3 Coach, Jamal and other local government officials grace the closing ceremony.

Record 800 teams and over 12,000 Cricketers were in action during GTR presents Kaiwal Zalmi League held in cities, villages, and fields of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi said that he is thankful to the young cricketers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the wonderful response of the Kalewal Zalmi League.

“We will continue to organize healthy activities for the youth in the future as well. CEO GTR Tyres Hussain Kuli Khan said that GTR believes in organizing sports and healthy activities for the youth in Pakistan.

Kaliwal Zalmi League is close to my heart and Peshawar Zalmi and GTR will continue to organize such events together in Future for the youth of KP and Pakistan, he said. Peshawar Zalmi, Zalmi Foundation and Paigham e Pakistan combined collaboration event emerged as the popular cricket festival of the province.

The teams of Bannu Bulls, Khyber Tigers, Swat Hawks, Bara Titans, Kohat Knights, Hazara Panthers, Charsadda Eagles and DI Khan Stallions made it to the final stage of the League.
