KKKUK grabs 12 top positions

KARAK: Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak grabbed twelve top positions in different co-curricular activities on divisional level held under the aegis of directorate of youth affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government with the collaboration of Liaison Corporation and second phase of the competition on provincial level would launch very soon.

This was informed by the head of Communication and Media Studies department and convener of the committee of the National Youth Carnival here on Sunday and expressed jubilation over the outstanding performance of the students of KKKUK in the competition. He claimed that the purpose of the co-curricular competition was to create confidence in the youths and to prepare them for future challenges.

He congratulated the University administration, head of departments, head of various sections and the other members of the committee on the better performance of the students in divisional level competitions by securing top twelve positions in various competitions and claimed that such a marvelous performance was the result of team work of all stakeholders.Mr Qureshi appreciated the step of the provincial government and directorate of youth affairs by providing an opportunity to the youths of higher educational institutions to express their talents and claimed that it would help in nurturing the dormant qualities of the students.

The convener further informed that 13000 students of 110 different educational institutions participated in the competition and expressed optimism that the students of KKKUK would also perform very well in the next phase of the competition on provincial level.
