KOHAT: Tehsil Lachi level Games Competitions of Kohat Sports Festival 2023 organized by the Kohat Sports Office in collaboration with the District Administration Kohat and MOL Company concluded at Lachi on Tuesday evening. Former MPA Amjad Khan Afridi was the chief guest on this occasion.
The Festival includes Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Tug of War, Athletics, Konaly and Badminton Games. The concluding ceremony besides others was also attended by the District Sports Officer Kohat Sajid Afridi, and sports lovers in large number.
Competitions of the above mentioned games played at Tehsil Lachi level concluded while in next stage the said games would also be played in other Tehsils of the district. Winner teams of the Festival would play finals at Kohat Sports Complex.
The chief guest on the this occasion also distributed trophies and individual awards among the players.
The chief guest stressed upon the locals to take full advantage of this golden chance and participate in the Festival games by proving themselves best players of their respective games. He added, the Festival was aimed to discover the talent at grass roots level. He assured that he would fully support and encourage the talented players at all levels.
