PESHAWAR: A resolution submitted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly by all female legislators in provincial assembly seeking justice for medical student Asma, who was killed in Kohat the other day. The resolution was submitted by female MPAs of all political parties in KP Assembly. The resolution said the ruthless killing of Medical College student Asma was a worst example of injustice and barbarism. The resolution demanded early arrest of the culprits and to bring him to justice.
Furthermore President Para Medical Association Khyber Medical College and Health Employees Supreme Council Samiullah Monday condemned assassination of Dr Asima and demanded of the provincial government to arrest the killer.
He said to support protest of provincial doctors association against the killing, adding that if the assassin is not arrested within 72 hours, they would stage a protest and KP government would be responsible for that.
Dr Asima a third-year student of MBBS Abbottabad Medical College was killed allegedly by an accused Mujahid on January 28 after she refused to accept his marriage proposal. The disgruntled accused shot her dead outside her residence in Kohat soon after she reached home on leave.
