Peshawar: Qaumi Watan Party provincial chairman Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has said here on Sunday, that provincial led government has failed to delivered goods and the uncertainty among the people had been increased day by day. He said that due to incompetency of provincial government did not maintain the economic rights of Province.
He said this while addressing the QWP distract Peshawar and City distract Peshawar joint meeting here in Watan Kor, Peshawar. Party Provincial General secretary Hashim Babar, Secretary Political Training Asad Afridi, Nisar Khan advocate and other party leaders were also present on this ocassion.
“Due to lack vision the provincial led government of PTI did not rightfully project the economic rights of Pakhtoons in the province and to maintain their financial development for overcoming the increasing problems of the people that had exposed its credentials” Sikandar Sherpao deplored.
Mr.Sherpao said that the provincial led government had adopted hostile attitude and it is unable to project the case of the province at National Finance Commission (NFC), National Economic Council (NEC) and in other constitutional forums, which negates the tall claims of the government. “The leaders were only busy in political maneuvering and sloganeering, but it has not worked practically to shape its policy for the welling of the people” he regretted.
He said that the people had indentified the true faces of the rulers and it would reject them in the election of 2018. He said that the gory affairs had exposed the credentials of the government and serious situation of misgovernance had been sacked by them. He said that the Billion trees project which is only present on papers but actually there is nothing on grounds. It is a serious case of irregularities and misappropriation and National Accountability Bureau should thoroughly probe the matter.
Sikandar Sherpao said that QWP had been struggled for changes that will give renewed vitality to the democratic uplift. He said that his party was working for the protection of the rights of Pakhtoons and vowed that QWP would no more allow exploitation of them and it would strive hard for their rights on every platform.
He said that QWP is the staunchest supporter of the rule of law and power of parliament. He asked the party workers to continue the activities for mobilizing the voters for the national election. He said that QWP is the supporter of the pakhtoons rights and it will leave no stone unturned to struggle for their rights. He vowed to strive hard for the rights of pakhtoons so as to ensure their progress and development. He said that QWP had emerged as the lone voice for the rights of the oppressed strata that’s why the people mostly relied on it.
He continued that the public trust was more indicated due to its struggle for the welfare of the common men. He contended that QWP had taken up the cudgels of the masses while the people of the province.
On this occasion Malik Niaz Ali of PPP along with scores of his supporters announced their joining in QWP.
