KP govt sends letter to PHC Chief Justice for judicial inquiry into May 9 incidents

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has sent a letter to the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court for a judicial inquiry into the May 9 incidents.

According to the report, the letter requested the formation of a judicial commission regarding the May 9 incidents.

Law Minister KP Aftab Alam says that a letter has been sent by the administration to the Chief Justice regarding the formation of a judicial commission related to the May 9 incidents and the Chief Justice will announce the names for the commission.

The head of the judicial commission will be a judge of the Peshawar High Court, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet approved the judicial inquiry into the May 9 incidents.
