KP govt well aware of problems of merged districts: CM

KALAYA: Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa Mahmood Khan said here Friday that KP Government was well aware of the problems of tribal districts and taking solid measures to bring it at par with developed regions of the country. He said handful elements are again came out by making politics on name of Pakthoons to keep their dwindling politics alive but they will not succeed in their ill designs.

Addressing a big public gathering here, the CM Minister said PTI was the only political party that will safeguard all rights of people including Pakhtuns. The CM said country will achieve new heights of progress and development under leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and all problems of tribesmen would be addressed.

He said KP Govt has addressed the major problem of Levy and Khasadar Force and clearly announced to merge it with KP police with all perks and privileges as being enjoyed by policemen. The CM said free treatment will be provided to tribesmen under Sehat Insaf Cards scheme and each beneficiary will get up to Rs7,20000 for treatment in any top Govt and private hospital of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

KP Govt has started ambitious Self Employment Scheme to provide dignified jobs to youth, saying interest free loans would be provided to educated, skilled labour besides others people with technical skills for establishment of their own businesses. The CM said grievances regarding compensation of damaged houses etc would be addressed and tribesmen would provide support for construction of their houses.

He said health facilities in tribal districts including Orakzai would be upgraded and doctors, paramedical would be recruited for smooth health delivery at public sector hospitals and preference will be given to tribal youth in jobs in future. The CM said Orakzai was a beautiful district with huge tourism potential and tourists’ sites here would be identified and developed on modern lines. He said sports grounds would be constructed in Orakzai to take full advantage of youth talents as sports promote tolerance and discipline among people.
