PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KP-HCC) has initiated a comprehensive assessment process for all Category 1 hospitals in Peshawar, with the aim of granting licenses to those meeting the prescribed standards. This assessment is being conducted by specialized teams of assessors, consisting of clinical, management, pharmacy, nursing, and biomedical engineering specialists.
The main objective of these assessments is to evaluate the quality of patient care provided by hospitals and ensure compliance with the established standards. By conducting thorough evaluations, the KP-HCC aims at enhancing the overall healthcare services/quality and promoting a safe and conducive environment for patients.
In recent months, assessments have been successfully completed for five hospitals. These hospitals include:
