KP Police to seek one month salary bonus for corona duty staff

PESHAWAR: The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abassi has said that  a summary regarding one month additional salary as a bonus for police  officials performing  duty at Quarantine Centers through out the province would be sent to Chief Minister for approval very soon.

The IGP  disclosed this today during a video link chat with all police officials who were deployed in Quarantine  centers in D.I.Khan, Hangu, Karak, Swat, Tank and Mardan districts.  During video link the IGP personally reached to some of the affectees in Hangu Quarantine center and inquired from them about the available facilities and confronting problems in the center.

The affectees were pleasantly surprised to see the IGP live on screen. They thanked the IGP for his valuable service and good will gesture, on video link the IGP also talked to the police officials deployed on these centres. On Camera the position of each and every police jawan deployed on different  vintage points were shown yo the IGP. 

The IGP also informed himself about the shift wise duty and strength  of the police on different Quarantine centres.

The IGP was told that police was giving duty in three shifts in these centres.

The IGP expressed satisfaction over the discharging of police duty filled with national spirit in this hour of trial.

The IGP also revealed that a summary about  one month additional salary as a bonus for police officials giving duty on Quarantine centres through out the province would be sent to the provincial govt very soon for proper approval.

On video link the IGP especially directed the police  Jawans to take special care of Human Rights as per NDMA rules and win the hearts and minds of the general public particularly of the affectees by exhibiting excellent behaviours and politeness during duty.

The IGP termed the police jawans performing duty at a frontline as real heroes of the force added that their heroic deeds in this juncture will go a long way in the annal of history.
