KP Police will fulfill its responsibilities in fight against coronavirus, says IGP Abbasi

PESHAWAR: The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sana ullah Abbasi has directed police officers to adopt Anti-Corona SOPs to protect the force and to ensure initiatives for the security of Quarantine Centres for Corona victims, in their respective areas.

The IGP told that police has to ensure strict action on the instructions issued by the Provincial Government regarding Transport, Shopping Malls, Hotels and Restaurants etc. He further stated All Ranks and files are precious assets of the force who performed their duties in difficult and hard times by putting their lives in danger. The IGP directed the officer to keep vigilant eye upon the militants, Narcotizes and other anti-social elements, so that their nefarious designs in the garb of the Corona out break might be curbed. The IGP said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police force will not let their nation down in the performance of their potential to combat this menace of Corona. The IGP emphasised that Police Officers should care for the welfare of  their force and also to make sure the  compliance on Anti-Corona precautionary measures in letter and spirit. The IGP reiterated that the steps taken must be in line with the directions issued by World Health Organization (W.H.O) against anti corona. The IGP said that a strong and healthy police force, in close connection with other departments, can prove to be a robust tier against the Corona Epidemic.
