KP has rendered matchless sacrifices, says Ihsan Iqbal

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has rendered matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism and today it was the result of those sacrifices that peace has been restored in the country.

This was said by Federal Minister for Interior Ihsan Iqbal while addressing inaugural ceremony of mega centre of NADRA and passport in Tehkal area of Peshawar on Tuesday. Ahsan Iqbal added that when Pakistan Muslim League (N) took reign of the government there was lawlessness in the country while 20 hours long power outrage had made the lives of people miserable but today by the mercy of God almighty peace has been restored in the country.

He congratulated the dwellers of Peshawar for one of the mega passport and NADRA center and said that worth 29 million rupees were spend on this new mega center which aimed to provide easy service to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He informed that for the first time NADRA was established in 1998 and today it has become an ambassador of the country in all over the worlds and have hundred of branches in the country.

He said that his government trying to provide quality service of international standard for the people of the country and this mission will be continue if the democratic process was not derailed in the country.

He added that in 2013 terrorist activities were on peak and innocent people were being targeted on daily basis but today the government have broke the backbone of terrorists. He said that today 80 to 90 percent incidents of terrorism have been controlled while economy of the country is improving with each passing day.

He went on to say that up to 2024 Pakistan will be among the top 20 economies in world ranking while energy crisis would soon end till 2018. Interior minister maintained that some elements annoying the masses by issuing statements regarding corruption saying that several countries are facing the issue of corruption but their developmental index is far better than Pakistan because of political stability.

He mentioned that no one in the past established any FATA university and today they succeeded that FATA have also separate university while laptops have been distributed among the youth which never happen in the previous governments.
