Kriti Sanon shares her excitement of playing a surrogate mother in Mimi
MUMBAI: This year has been a mixed bag for Kriti Sanon. Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat, the young actress has done all kinds of roles in just one year and has been applauded for her act, comic timing and her dancing skills. Now her kitty is full of some more exciting projects and one of them is Mimi.
Mimi is a film about a young girl who decides to be a surrogate mother and the film will have her reunite with Luka Chuppi director Laxman Utekar. The actress recently spoke about her role and revealed that the film is forty percent shot already. She later expressed her excitement and said, “I am very excited. It’s based on the subject of surrogacy but actually it’s the story of this young girl who wants to be an actor.
She’s a dancer in Mandawa and she ends up being a surrogate for a couple. Then, the things that follow change her life and also change her as a person.” The actress shared more about it and added, “It’s a lot on me. It’s around this character Mimi. It is very entertaining, a beautiful script. One of the most beautiful scripts I have read. You will have a lot of humor and situational humor. At the same time, there are a lot of characters you will take back home.”
Kriti Sanon has been praised for her act as Parvati Bai in Panipat. She will be teaming up with Akshay Kumar again in Bachchan Pandey too in the coming year.
