KUST organized 46th syndicate meeting

KOHAT: Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) held its 46th syndicate meeting at committee room Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat chaired by Vice Chancellor KUST, Prof. Dr. Sardar Khan.
The meeting discussed and reviewed 26 different agenda items. In 46th meeting of the syndicates the meeting approved the minutes of the 19th F&PC (Finance and planning committee) and revised budget for the year 2020-2021 and budget estimate for the year 2021-2022.The meeting confirmed the proceedings of 45th meeting of the syndicate as well as the implementation report. The syndicate members also approved the decisions taken by 34th and 35th academic council.
The members of the meeting approved the annual increment of TTS Faculty members as per recommendation of DTRC meeting and four faculty members got study leave extension. The appointment and promotion of (Associate Professor/ Professor TTS and BPS) faculty members was approved as per the recommendation made by selection board held on 11th June, 2021.
The Meeting was attended by Javed Iqbal, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department KPK, Peshawar, Inam Ullah, Section Officer Establishment Department, KPK, Alaud din, Budget Officer, Finance Department KPK, Prof. Dr. Syed Tasleem Hussain, Dean Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Murad Ali, Dean Faculty of Social Science, Prof. Dr. Shahid Niaz, Dean Faculty of Biological Sciences, Dr. Wasiullah Registrar (KUST), Muhammad Zafar, Treasurer (KUST), Muhammad Ishtiaq, Deputy Treasures, Rauf Khan, Additional Director ICT, Nadia Ashraf, Principal Govt. Girls Degree College,KDA Kohat, Jamila Khanum, Principal Govt. Post Graduate College for Women, Kohat, Dr. Noor Muhammad, Dr. Azhar ul Haq, Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob and Yasir Saeed.
