KABUL (Agencies): Dr. Abdul Bari Omar the Acting Director of the National Food and Drug Administration of Afghanistan, met with the officials of medicine and medical products of Turkey and Malaysia. On the sidelines of the conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperations.
Omar discussed the quality of medicines and medical products and the strengthening of business in the mentioned sectors with the General Director of Medicines and Medical Products of Turkey, according to a statement.
During a meeting the Turk side vowed to provide comprehensive assistance to the National Food and Drug Administration of Afghanistan in capacity building, laboratories and technical aspects, went saying the statement.
Meanwhile, the Acting Director of the National Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Abdul Bari Omar and his accompanying delegation met with the Deputy Director of the Malaysian Drug and Medical Products Administration of that country.
During the meeting, for his sides the Malaysian promised that they will provide technical and necessary assistance to the Food and Drug Administration of Afghanistan.
