Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway to be inaugurated on March31

LAHORE: Lahore-Abdul Hakeem segment of Karachi-Peshawar Motorway will be inaugurated tomorrow (Sunday).

Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will jointly inaugurate it.

This is an important segment of Karachi-Peshawar Motorway that has linked up the districts of Sheikhpura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh and Khanewal to motorway network.

The motorway will gear up pace of socio-economic development in the areas located on its alignment besides generating new employment opportunities.

The project will also facilitate transportation of agricultural products of these areas to the big markets of the country.
