Lahore Whites beat Rawalpindi in National T20

ISLAMABAD: Lahore Whites crushed Rawalpindi by 28 runs after Kamran Akmal hit blistering half century with 52 of his 65 runs.

Lahore Whites managed to scores 178 in the 20 over in which Kamran Akmal hit a beautiful half century with the help of Sami Aslam and younger brother Umar Akmal.

In reply Rawalpindi were off to an aggressive start after Umar Amin and Zain Abbas took brilliant start and maintaining a run rate around 10 in the Power-play. But the wickets kept tumbling, and no one able to play the sort of knock Kamran had for his team and Rawalpindi began to collapse.

Bilal Asif took 2 wickets for 20 runs, helping themselves to wickets and keeping the hosts well away from a sniff of victory.
