Lakers beat Warriors 103-100 in play-in game to secure 7th seed

LOS ANGELES (Agencies): The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 103-100 in a play-in game as they secure the seventh seed in the Western Conference late Wednesday.
Having scored a game winning 3-pointer with 58.2 seconds left, LeBron James led the Lakers by posting a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Anthony Davis also played with 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side while Alex Caruso added 14 points and Dennis Schroder scored 12 points.
For the losing side, Stephen Curry dropped a game-high 37 points and Andrew Wiggins finished with 21 points. Following this victory, the Lakers sealed the seventh seed to take on No. 2 seeded Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference first round.
The Warriors still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs if they beat Memphis Grizzlies which defeated the San Antonio Spurs 100-96 in another play-in game. The winner of Warriors vs Grizzlies matchup will earn the eight spot to face No. 1 seeded Utah Jazz in the first round.
