Lara Dutta celebrates 20 years of winning the Miss Universe crown

ISLAMABAD: Lara Dutta bagged the title of Miss Universe back in 2000 and she marked the twentieth anniversary of her special day and the actress decided celebrate the same by sharing pictures of her win on social media.

The actress got all nostalgic and shared some gorgeous looks, posing in a white gown, to her winning the title and one more in a beautiful red evening gown. Along with the photos, she wrote, “20 years to the day!! 12 th May 2000, Nicosia, Cyprus. What a wonderful gift to receive from the universe! One I’m eternally grateful for @missindiaorg @missdivaorg @timesofindia @missuniverse #MilleniumsMissUniverse.” Have a look at the pictures below.

Lara recently made her digital debut with a web series titled Hundred. The actress plays the role of a tough, no-nonsense cop ACP Saumya Shukla. She made her Bollywood debut with a film titled, Andaaz in 2003 after winning the Miss Universe 2000 pageant.
