Lateef Afridi murder case: ATC adjourns hearing

PESHAWAR: Anti-terrorism court Peshawar has adjourned further hearing till 29th March of alleged facilitator Adil Advocate in former Supreme Court Bar Association President and senior lawyer Abdul Lateef Advocate, on Monday.

According to prosecution, the alleged facilitator Adil Advocate has cooperated with murderer Adnan Afridi in killing of Lateef Afridi at Peshawar High Court Bar Room on 16th January.

During investigation Adil Advocate was nominated by competent authorities in the offense as facilitator in the killing of Abdul Lateef Afridi Advocate.

Meanwhile, Additional District and Session Judge Abdul Qayyum Saddiqi has adjourned hearing till today (on Tuesday) in bail petition of murderer Sher Muhammad who has shot killed English’s lecturer at Islamia College University.

During hearing, the counsel for complainant submitted power of attorney and requested for time to prepare the case on merit while honorable court has granted time to lawyer and adjourned further hearing till today.

It is worthy to mention that Sher Muhammad has shot English’s lecturer within Islamia College University while escaped from the crime scene. However, police has arrested the murderer from Karak district and put behinds while the culprit has approached honorable court for bail.
