Lawyers always worked for supremacy of law: Parvez Elahi

LAHORE: Vice-Chairman of Punjab Bar Council Ch Muhammad Akram along with a delegation called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi here on Friday.

The Delegation included Additional Advocate General Punjab Asif Mehmood Cheema, Punjab Bar Council members Ch ohammad Sarwar and Ali Riaz Kirmani. The delegation apprised Ch Parvez Elahi about problems of Punjab bar. Ch Parvez Elahi said that the lawyers are very important part of our society, lawyers have to activate their role in reforming the society, through courts lawyers help the people in securing quick and cheap justice, lawyers have always worked for supremacy of law. Vice-Chairman Punjab Bar Council Ch Muhammad Akram said that as the chief minister you got constructed Punjab Bar Council building for the lawyers, also provided facilities of free treatment and medicines for the lawyers in government hospitals.
