LEAs arrest 11 suspects during search operation in Lahore

LAHORE: At least 11 suspected were arrested in a joint search operation conducted by police, Rangers and intelligence agencies personnel in different parts of Lahore.

As per police officials, the law enforcement agencies conducted search operation in Data Darbar, Mochi Gate, Islampura, Ravi Road and Lari Adda areas of the provincial capital. The forces also checked hotels and guest houses and bus stands situated in these areas and door to door search was also conducted at some places with the aim to ensure the security of the area.

During the operation the forces also checked the identification of 77 suspects through biometric device when they were failed to provide any documents.

Police officials told that the search operation was carried to ensure the security and maintain the law and order situation during the Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh and Chelum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
