F.P. Report
ISLAMABAD: It has been decided on Monday to arrest the main leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) prior to PTI resuming long march to the capital, which the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) believe will cause the closure of internal and external routes of Islamabad.
According to sources, an important meeting of the law enforcement agencies was held late at night on Sunday, in which the arrest warrants of some the PTI leaders were received.
The political leaders whose arrest warrants were received include Pervez Khattak, Sheikh Rashid Shafique and Amir Kayani, while it has also been decided to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur and Malik Aamir Dogar.
Furthermore, rangers, FC and federal police will be deployed on patrol in the capital and strict action will be taken against those blocking the road to Islamabad Airport.
