HEART: As many as 10 Afghan security force personnel were killed in a Taliban attack in Shindand district in Herat on Thursday night.
Shukrullah Shakir, District Governor confirmed the news the Taliban gunmen attacked security forces in Larzanak area in Shindand district.
He added that Public Order Police forces hit a roadside mine in Larzanak and suddenly the Taliban attacked the vehicle with the rocket and hit the soldiers who were helping their colleagues after the attack.
The Taliban attack comes after six people were killed and nine others wounded in an explosion in Shindand district this week on Monday.
