At least 100 militants killed in operations: MoD

KABUL: Ministry of Defense (MoD) claimed on Sunday that nearly 100 militants were killed in the past 24 hours in an operations conducted by Afghan forces across the country.

Dawlat Waziri, Spokesman of Defense Ministry told Afghan media that these militanst were killed in Faryab, Kandahar, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Helmand, Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces of Afghanistan.

Waziri added that security forces achieved several successes in the operations and also recovered cache of weapons during the operations.

Taliban has not commented about the operations.
