At least 12 arrested including four foreigners for illegal hunting in Baluchistan

QUETTA: Security forces arrested at least 12 persons including four Qatari citizens in Baluchistan for illegal hunting earlier this week.

As per the officials, the illegal hunters were arrested near Nauskhi and Jhal Magsi districts near Pak-Afghan border and the investigation are continue from the arrested hunters.

Royal families from Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia often come to Baluchistan for the purpose of hunting of houbara bustards and other birds.

Earlier this year, levies officials had registered a case against Baluchistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti for hunting a Markhor, an endangered species.
