At least 76 Taliban fighters killed in military operation in Kunduz

KUNDUZ: Javed Salim, spokesman of the corps claimed on Monday that as many as 76 Taliban fighters were killed in a military operation conducted by the Afghan National Army Commando Corps in Kunduz province.

He told media persons that dozens of other Taliban fighters were injured in the operation against the militants. The special operation was launched against the militants in the Imam Sahib district of the Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

Javed Salim further added that a number of the villages were cleared of militants and the operation ended early on Monday morning and an army officer was also killed and two commandos were injured in the operation.
