LAHORE (Agencies): A Division bench of the Lahore High Court has been formed to hear the bail application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Khadija Shah who is behind bars under charges of an arson attack on Jinnah House on May 09.
Khadija Shah , a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist and daughter of former finance minister Dr Salman Shah is currently in jail on judicial remand in the Jinnah House attack case. It is pertinent to mention that on June 08, accepting the US consular access to PTI leader Khadija Shah on June 08, Federal Interior Ministry has granted the access to PTI leader Khadija Shah in the matter.
The ministry received the request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Interior Ministry has directed the Punjab Home Department to extend full cooperation to the US Consulate in Lahore in this regard.
