Lockdown: An angel or bucket of troubles

Wadood Jan

The lockdown indeed harmed the business sector and economy of the country but in fact it is the lockdown which acted an angel. The lockdown to a great extent helped to control the spread of coronavirus and saved lives. As a nation staying home was our social responsibility but people could not fulfill the responsibility as it was wished and sought.

Among multiple reasons of Corona spread in the country, one reason was non serious attitude of the people and kept moving in moving in society. But lockdown performed well and kept people inside their homes and made them to limit their activities.

The lockdown was a wise decision as corona spread remained low as it was expected. But on the other hand the number of coronavirus is still increasing and reason is that the some people still do not follow the guidelines to fight against corona menace.

Lockdown and corona fear with many damages performed an outstanding job and saved the lives but question arises if the country and nation is in position to afford the lockdown ahead.

Pakistan is a poor country and has already been suffering financial crisis which suggests the lockdown will further devastate the economy of the country but at the same time denouncing lockdown will also harm the nation and is a great risk to the lives of people.

The wise of the nation may join their heads and decide the situations or in both cases the country and nation will suffer and will lead to a panic situation in the country.
