Major corruption accused are enjoying: Sheikh Rashid

FAISALABAD: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid said on Tuesday while referring to incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sahrif said that the kidney stones can also be cured through spells however; he has become stubborn with passage of time.

Speaking to media in the office of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA) in Faisalabad, he maintained, “They have the same diseases 20 years back. Major accused of corruption are enjoying.”

“Nawaz had gone to hospital for treatment but he should come to Lal Haveli where all his ailments will be treated,” taunted Rashid.

“Shehbaz Sharif is requesting speaker NA to refrain from including me in Public Accounts Committee. Those who looted the money of Pakistan and committed corruption are out of jail but if a common man steals mobile phone he has to spend several years behind bars. In such scenario I request the Prime Minister to also release the minor thieves,” he criticized.

He notified that the previous government created the most expensive Orange Line Train whereas they repaired the damaged trains and made 20 of the operational.

“We will double the railway track if only Rs2 million are given to us. If the traders of Faisalabad provide us the money for oil and track, we will run freight trains on daily basis,” the minister suggested.

When asked a question related to Rana Sanaullah, Rashid decline to answer and concluded the media talk saying, “My mouth stinks after taking his name therefore; I do not want to talk about him.”
