MUMBAI: All set to shake a leg in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha in a song called Hello Hello, Malaika Arora will be seen returning to the big screen after a long gap of three years. Starring Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra in the lead, Pataakha is a story of two warring sisters from a small village in Rajasthan. Making a special appearance in the film, the song featuring Malaika has been composed by Vishal and sung by Rekha Bhardwaj. The song has been given a desi touch in its lyrics with references to WhatsApp and social networking.
After a long wait, we have finally got Malaika’s first look from the song. The actress who recently shot the foot tapping number spoke about it to PTI saying, “It was great fun shooting for the song. I have immense respect for Vishal sir and Gulzar Sahab. Rekha has sung the song. They have created magic in the past and I am very happy to be the part of this track. I love the title of the film and title of the song,”
Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, Hello Hello was filmed on August 23 and 24 at a studio in Mira Road. On that, a source close to the project informed, “There were about 18-20 dancers accompanying Malaika and they were so much in sync that the song was wrapped up in a day and a half. It’s going to be a real pataakha,”
