Malala Yousafzai returns to Pakistan after nearly six years

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Nobel laureate and symbol of female education in the world, Malala Yousufzai returned to Pakistan early Thursday morning nearly six years.

Malala Yousafzai was attacked by Taliban gunmen and was shot in the head at point-blank range by Taliban gunmen as she was returning from her school in Swat valley on October 2012.

She suffered bullet injuries and was admitted to the Military Hospital Peshawar and then taken to London for further treatment.

The social media is jubilant and it was mostly a celebration on social media after Malala landed at Islamabad airport from Dubai via flight no. EK-614.
