Man kills daughter, paramour in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD: A landlord in Laveray Khurd village has shot dead his young daughter and her paramour late last night. The accused managed his escape after committing the crime.

According to police source, Jamal Hassan deceased was working as a field worker with the accused Muhammad Azam for the past some time. He has developed illicit relations with Malaika Bibi daughter of the accused. The accused often advised her to mend her ways but she lent deaf ears to his advice. Last night the accused found Jamal Hassan and daughter Malaika Bibi in objectionable condition following which the accused got infuriated and allegedly shot them dead with his pistol. They died before any medical aid could be made available to them.

The police have registered double murder case against Muhammad Azam and shifted the dead bodies to the local morgue for legal formalities.
