KARAK: A person killed his mother, wife and sister-in-law in Jandaki Zarki Nusrati area of Tehsil Takht-i-Nusrati and another sister-in-law were critically injured. Police arrested the co-accused but the principal accused was still at large.
Police sources informed here on Wednesday that on some domestic issue Sajid opened firing with the help of his fried Inayatullah on her mother GulQasimzada wife of Mir Aslam (57), his wife AmreenaAkhter (30), his sister-in-law ShabnamBibi (32) wife of Abid Khan and another sister-in-law Nadia Javed wife of Jafar Khan on Tuesday night and all of them sustained critical injuries.
The local people shifted all the injured women to Tehsil headquarters hospital Takht-i-Nusrati but three of them identified as the mother of accused Gul Qasimzada, his wife Amreena Akhter and sister-in-law Shabnam Bibi succumbed to their injuries. The doctors stated the conditions of the fourth injured woman serious. Police claimed that the accused Sajid perpetrated the crime with the help of his friend Inayatullah and they managed to escape the scene safely from the crime scene but police soon after getting information of the incident made blockade of the area.
Police party arrested the co-accused Inayatullah during search operation in the area but the main accused Sajid was still at large. Police registered the FIR of the incident in Takht-i-Nusrati police station and started further investigations. Sources claimed that on Wednesday the three women were buried in their ancestral graveyard at Jandaki Zaraki Nusrati and large number of people attended the last funeral prayers of the three women.
