KOHAT (INP): A man opened fire on transgenders in Kohat, killing one and injuring three of them in Kohat late on Saturday night. The transgenders were returning from a wedding when they were attacked near Jarma bridge, in the limits of Saddar Police Station.
A heavy contingent of police reached the place of the attack as soon as they received a report and arrested a man along with the weapon allegedly used in the attack.
The man has been identified as Arif, and is allegedly the brother of one of the transgenders. He has been booked in a case containing clauses of murder and attempted murder. The three injured transgenders were shifted to KDA hospital where they are receiving medical attention.
