Man shot dead wife, daughter over ‘domestic spat’ in Karachi

KARACHI: A man shot dead his wife and daughter over a “domestic spat” Karachi’s Gadap Town area on late Wednesday.

Officials of Gadap Town police station told local news channel that a suspect identified as Maula Bakhsh, a resident of Haji Ibrahim Goth opened fire with a 9mm pistol to murder his wife and daughter, the latter of whom was wounded but succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

The deceased were identified as Anisa and Shehrbano, police said. The suspect, however, managed to escape arrest, they added, but raids were being carried out to search for him.
