MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut’s first directorial venture, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has fared well at the box-office. Kangana has not only directed a huge portion of the film, but she also plays the protagonist in it.
Apart from her, Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Ankita Lokhande play crucial roles in the film. Manikarnika has entered its fourth week at the box-office and has earned an impressive Rs 91.70 crore till now.
Though the increase in the numbers has been slow, the film has managed to steadily attract moviegoers. In its first week at the box-office the film earned Rs 61.15 crore, in its second week, the film collected Rs 23.40 crore and in its third week, the film managed to rake in Rs 7.15 crore making the grand total Rs 91.70 crore. It remains to be seen whether the film enters the Rs 100 crore club or not in future.
