MUMBAI: Speculations have been rife about ManushiChhillar’s next move after winning the prestigious title, Miss World 2017. Just like former Miss Worlds AishwaryaRai and Priyanka Chopra, everyone expected Manushi too to join the Hindi Film Industry. It seems now Manushi has bagged a film opposite Akshay Kumar.
Apparently, Manushi is being cast as the leading lady in a period drama based on PrithvirajChauhan’s life. Manushi will be seen playing his wife in the biopic produced by Yash Raj films. According to reports, an official announcement about the same will be made soon. As of now, everything is kept hush hush while the actress-to-be prepares for her debut.
Apparently, Manushi was earlier offered the Hindi remake of the Telegu hit RX 100 opposite AhanShetty. The film is produced by SajidNadiadwala. However, reports stated that Manushi felt that making a debut with another newcomer would be too much of pressure. She chose to make her debut opposite an established actor.
