Many MQM-P members likely to join PPP

ISLAMABAD: After the Mutahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) alliance, several displeased MQM-P leaders held meetings with the former President Asif Ali Zardari and they are likely to join PPP.

As per details, several MQM-P lawmakers including Salman Mujahid and Dr. Fauzia Hameed met with the former president at Islamabad’s Zardari House where they discussed political matters with the PPP Co-chairman. Private news channel claims that a group of MQM-P leaders likely to join PPP as they were unhappy for the MQM-P and PSP alliance.

Earlier, a few days ago, MQM-P Senator Khushbakht Shujat and MNA Ali Rashid had met Zardari. The four leaders of MQM-P are expected to join PPP in near future and these four leaders are expected to join PPP.
