LAKKI MARWAT: Rangers sepoy Fawad Khan who embraced martyrdom in Lyari operation the other day was laid to rest in his native village Baz Kilay on Thursday. Sepoy Fawad Khan was martyred when paramilitary force came under attack by militants in Karachi Lyari area. Being the youngest among his brothers the martyred soldier belonged to a family with army background as his two brothers are serving in Pak army and his uncle Akbar Khan who served in Punjab Regiment also embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
The deceased soldier was laid to rest in a graveyard located in Baz Kilay near Naurang town with full official honour. District naib nazim Arab Khan, civil and military officials, local government representatives and people from different walks of life attended funeral prayers.
