Maryam Nawaz, Capt Safdar to record statements today in Avenfield properties case
ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz and her husband MNA Captain (Retd) Safdar will record their statements in the accountability court in Avenfield case against them on Wednesday (today).
Judge Muhammad Bashir will preside over the hearing and during the last hearing Wajid Zia, head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Panama case has completed his statement.
Wajid Zia informed that court that the Hill Metal Establishment earned 9.9 million dollar profit during 2010 to 2017 and Nawaz Sharif received 8.9 million dollar from the company during 2010 to 2015.
He added that according to the Bank account details prove that Hussain Nawaz gave 88 percent profit to his father Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris will cross-examine Wajid Zia during today’s hearing.
