Maryam Nawaz lauds UK role during Pak-India conflict

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz lauded the role of United Kingdom (UK) during the recent Indian aggression against Pakistan.

She expressed these views during a luncheon hosted by her in honour of outgoing UK High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Political Advisor Zoe Ware in Lahore.

Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan wanted to strengthen relations with the United Kingdom in investment, education, climate change and good governance.

On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz paid glowing tributes to services rendered by outgoing political advisor of UK Zoe Ware. She said that Zoe Ware performed her duties with honesty and sincerity.

Maryam Nawaz that the services of UK Political Advisor Zoe Ware will be remembered. Maryam Nawaz said that vast experience of Jane Marriat played vital role for promoting relations between Pakistan and United Kingdom globally.

Maryam Nawaz said that Government of Punjab and United Kingdom are in search of fields in which they wanted to promote and strengthen relations.

She said that 17,00,000 British-Pakistani belonged to Punjab which showed brotherly ties between the two countries.
