ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz has termed the disqualification of Khawaja Asif as a “fixed match”.
She said this whiel sharing her views on twitter after the Islamabad High Court disqualified Khawaja Asif for holding Iqama on Thursday.
She claimed that it is a very old method that if you cannot defeat the opponent in fair match then the cheaters fix the match and disqualified the opponent in a match.
The daughter of Nawaz Sharif claimed that despite the disqualification of Khawaja Asif, people will now vote more even to the shadow of the senior PML-N leader.
Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) ruled that Asif stands disqualified from Parliament for holding an Iqama (work permit) of the United Arab Emirates.
