ABBOTTABAD (Online): The suspects of Mashal Khan case will be indicted on September 19.
Media reports revealed on Thursday that the 57 suspects, of whom four are absconding, will be indicted and the daily hearings of the case will start from September 20. The daily hearings will be held at Haripur prison.
The anti-terrorism court in Abbottabad will hear the bail application filed by one of the suspects and give a verdict on it on September 18.
Mashal Khan, who was a student of journalism at Abdul Wali Khan University, was lynched by an enraged mob on the university premises on April 13. The mob killed the student over allegations of blasphemy.
The university personnel and students have also been arrested for their involvement in Mashal’s murder.
