Massive fire at Mumbai compound kills 15 people

MUMBAI: At least 15 people have been dead and more than 16 were injured after a major fire broke out late night at a building in Kamala Mills Compound in Mumbai on Thursday.

The local hospital administration confirmed that at least 15 people were killed and 16 others were injured in the incident and still one patient is in critical condition.

The local administration told media that that the fire broke out on the sixth floor of the building in central Mumbai at around 12:30 am, and soon engulfed the entire place. The building also houses some commercial establishments including hotels, media offices a police official said.
