#MeToo allegations: Ajay Devgn criticized for working with Alok Nath

MUMBAI: Makers of ‘De De Pyar De’ decided to launch the trailer of the film along with the Ajay Devgn’s birthday celebration. While the trailer of the film was well received by the audience, Alok Nath, who is accused by the writer Vinta Nanda for sexual misconduct.

Ajay was even quizzed about collaborating with Alok Nath despite MeToo allegations to which he replied saying “This is not the right place to talk about it and the film’s shoot was completed way before the allegations surfaced against the person.” While some Twitter users slammed Ajay for working with Nath and even received a lot of criticism for not commenting on Alok’s presence in the movie. The film is helmed by Akiv Ali and also features Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in prominent roles. The film is slated to release on May 17, 2019.
