ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said Pakistan strongly believes that using military as solution in Afghanistan it will further complicate the Afghan conflict.
This he said while talking to local news channel after his return from Turkey. Pakistan decided to contact the regional countries after the US President Donald Trump announced his anti-Pakistan policy for South Asia and also leveled baseless allegations against Pakistan.
Khawaja Asif said that all the three regional states which he visited including China, Iran and Turkey, they fully acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
Solving the Afghan conflict dialogue is the best possible solution and asked the countries affected by Afghanistan situation to come forward and find solution of the conflict, he added.
Regarding the Indian role in Afghanistan, Foreign Minister that India will not have a political role in Afghanistan and they will only be restricted to the economic sector as US has clarified that New Delhi does not have a political role in Afghanistan.
