Minister Azizi asked Russian investors to invest in Afghanistan

KABUL (Agencies): In a trade talk, the Afghan Minister of Industry and Commerce ask his Russian counterpart to come and invest in Afghanistan.
Nooruddin Azizi Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with officials of the Russian chamber of commerce and industry, according to the Afghan Ministry of Commerce statement.
Minister Azizi in this meeting asked Russian investors to come and invest in Afghanistan, added to the statement of the Ministry.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcoming Azizi’s trip to Moscow said they are ready to expand and development of trade ties between the two countries with its 180 representatives throughout Russia.
Azizi mentioned visa problems for Afghan businessmen, asked for creating a joint chamber, holding trade fairs and conferences, encouraging Russian investors to invest in Afghanistan, and money transfers for trade transactions between Afghanistan and the Russian Federation, which were welcomed by the officials of that chamber, went saying the ministry statement.
Lately, Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce, traveled to Moscow at the head of a high-level delegation to discuss the consolidation and development of economic relations and the increase in the volume of trade between the two countries.
The Afghan delegation will discuss with Russian officials the conclusion of large contracts for the purchase of wheat, oil, fuel products, and liquid gas on their trip to Moscow.
