KARACHI: Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, State Minister on Industries and Production visited and chaired meeting to review the performance of PIM at Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) at Karachi Monday.
The Executive Director of the Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM), Muhammad Syed ul Haque received the State Minister on Industries and Production briefed the performance of Pakistan Institute of Management since its establishment. The Executive Director PIM informed State Minister the achievements, issues and challenges being countered by the Institute.
Qureshi ensured his complete support to upbringing the state owned training institute of Pakistan that had been training the manpower of government organisations, armed forces, multinational organisations and private organisations. While emphasizing the role of training devopment, the Minister said that training development should be essential part in every public or private sector.
He further said that the training had never been so complusory during pre-covid period but it has become very necessary to equip the staff with necessary skills and skills development through trainings. He applauded the achievements of Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) and expressed his satisfaction over their performance.
The executive Director, Muhammad Syed ul Haque requested the government through State Minister to provide space for PIM, Islamabad office, he ensured his complete support in this regard.
Later on, Mr. Qureshi visited different sections of the Institute.
