Minister Khairkhah meets EU Special Political Envoy

KABUL (Agencies): Acting Information and Culture Minister, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Saturday met with the European Union special political representative, Thomas Nicholson, and his accompanying delegations in his office.
Minister Khairkhah, thanked European representatives for their cooperation, discussed on the interested issues of the country, including the political developments in Afghanistan, according to a statement received by this news agency.
Minister of Information and Culture said that freedom of expression supported based on the Islamic values and national interests of the country, adding historical heritage preserved.
He asked the European Union’s representatives to support media and journalists financially.
Nicholson exchanged views on the preservation of cultural and historical heritage, freedom of expression, mainly the activity of the Commission on Media Violation (CMV).
In the end, Minister Khairkhah, assured addressing the problems of media in the country and full cooperations.
