Minister’s visit to foster Sino-Pak economic ties

BEIJING (INP): In a bid to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation, Federal Minister of Commerce Dr. Gohar Ejaz has embarked on a visit to China, China Economic Net (CEN) reported on Sunday.

The visit aims to foster stronger ties between the two nations and explore opportunities for mutual economic growth.

During the visit, the Commerce Minister is expected to engage in high-level discussions with his Chinese counterparts, focusing on trade policies, investment opportunities, and collaborative initiatives. Both countries are keen on expanding their economic partnership, and this visit is anticipated to be a significant step towards achieving that goal.

Official sources said that the discussions are likely to cover various sectors, including textile, agriculture, technology collaboration, and the promotion of trade through existing agreements under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The Minister is also scheduled to hold a series of meetings with prominent Chinese business leaders and investment groups in Beijing and later will visit Suzhou where he will meet Chinese entrepreneurs and local government leaders.
